SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH MEMORIAL LECTURE

The College organises a Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Lecture on the martyrdom day of Bhagat Singh on March 23, every year. On this occasion, the College invites eminent historians and those associated with freedom struggle to address our students fraternity to inculcate a sense of love and sacrifice for the sovereignity of our motherland. This year, we invited Prof. Syed Irgan Habin on this occasion who gave a thought-provoking Lecture and gave a clarion call to the students to follow the path shown by Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh.

SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH MEMORIAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

The College has been organising since 1997 Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Football Tournament to pay our respectful homage to the great son of India, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh for his supreme sacrifice for the freedom of India. The fourtth tournament, in series was held this year from September 23-27, 2000. PGDAV College won the championship defeating Zakir Hussain College. Dr. Yoga Nand Shastri, Food and Development Minister,Government of Delhi, gave away the prizes.
