Innovation Project Code:  SBSC (E)-101 Funded by University of Delhi from 15 May 2012 to 15 July 2013.   The project has been initiated with the major objective to inculcate innovative thinking among undergraduate students in the college as well as to expose them to real world environment. For this, survey of the selected slums – one in Delhi and other in Mumbai was carried out.

Innovation Project Code: SBS (E)-201.This project was conducted with the avowed objective people prefer to reside along co - religious people and hence religious ghetto and religious enclaves are found in different part of the city. Based on 2014 electoral data of Delhi, the study was conducted and reaches to the conclusion that people have a strong believe in religious segregation in residential pattern.

Innovation Project Code:  SBS (E) 202.The Project is initiated with the objective of exploring the geographical, socio-economical and cultural characteristics of the land and people of the western Himalaya borderland part of India .Beside the rough terrain, adverse climatic and weather conditions in the study areas, the students and the PIs were able to explored the geographical landforms and finding millions years old fossils in the Himalaya.

  • To understand and study the various facets of climate change and its impact on the various remotely located communities in Himalaya.
  • To study the transformation in the traditional lifestyle in the light of changing climate.
  • To study the mechanism of impact of climate change in the form of glaciers, rivers, flash floods and other extreme events.

  • To prepare the Multi data Landuse/Landcover map to understand the dynamics of Landuse Patterns.
  • To conduct workshops with the stakeholders and out migrants in Delhi in order to propagate awareness about the positive role of out migrants to manage the study area
