Sankalp, formerly known as the B.A.Programme Association at SBSEC, has evolved into a dynamic platform focused onacademic excellence, intellectual growth, and personal development. Itcontinues to provide students with an enriching environment where they can explore diverseideas, values, and human expressions. Through various initiatives,Sankalp helps students enhance their interpersonal, organizational, andcommunication skills, enabling them to grow both inside and outside theclassroom.

Key Initiatives of Sankalp:

Project Sankalp: Launched on 6^thMarch 2025 by Principal Prof. Arun Kumar Attree, Project Sankalp,spearheaded by President Purkha Ram (M. Prakash) under the guidance ofDr.Kalyanee Rajan (Convenor) is a comprehensive web platform designed toprovide students with easy access to essential academic resources. It hostssyllabi for 1st to 6th semesters, along with an extensive collection of 1000+study materials and 500+ books to assist students with their coursework andexam preparation. In this project, we also offer video lectures, researchpapers, and blogs. These resources are designed to provide diverse learningformats, ensuring students can engage with the material in ways that suit theirindividual learning styles. Anokhi Pahal: This lecture seriesnurtures creative expression among students of special needs and disabledstudents, by providing a platform for them to showcase their artistic,literary, and cultural talents. It encourages innovation and offers such students the opportunity to present theirunique ideas and projects to a wider audience.

Parichay Series: Designed to help first-year studentstransition seamlessly into college life, Parichay introducesthem to the structure of the B.A. Programme course, college resources, andopportunities for both academic and personal development, ensuring a smoothacademic journey.

Disha: Focusing on career guidance andacademic development, Disha offers workshops, career counseling sessions, andnetworking opportunities with professionals. This initiative empowers studentsto make informed decisionsabout their career paths and future aspirations.

 UPSC Yearly Series:This initiative catersto students aspiringto take the UPSC(Union Public ServiceCommission) exams. It provides a structuredseries of seminars and workshops offering expert insights, resources, andstrategies to guide students through their UPSC preparation and enhance theirchances of success.

· Indradhanush Annual Fest: In addition to these initiatives,Sankalp organizes its annual academic and cultural festival, Indradhanush,a major event that celebrates the academic and cultural diversity of thestudent body. This festival provides a stage for students to showcase their talents in various domainsand fosters a sense of community.

·NayiPahal: Theassociation also publishes its annual E-Magazine, Nayi Pahal, which is now inits 4th edition. The bilingual (Hindi & English) magazine featuresstudents’ literary works, art works, creative ideas, and academic achievements,fostering intellectual curiosity and creativity within the student body.
