Introduction & Objective

Devbhoomi Family Society was established on 7 March 2023 with the noble aim of promoting and preserving the rich Pahadi culture and traditions. The society works towards connecting people belonging to the Pahadi community and spreading awareness about its heritage among students. It serves as a vibrant platform that encourages cultural expression, unity, and appreciation of the Himalayan identity.

Structure

The society functions under a well-organized structure consisting of:

• President: Provides overall leadership and oversees all society activities.
• Vice President: Supports the President and coordinates major events.
• Secretary: Handles documentation, communication, and reporting.
• Treasurer: Manages finances and event budgeting.
• Campus Coordinator: Connects with students and ensures smooth functioning.
• Cultural Head: Leads performances, cultural events, and celebrations.
• Content Head: Prepares written content and event documentation.
• Social Media Head: Manages online presence and publicity.
• Logistics Head: Supervises event arrangements and on-ground support.

Functioning & Activities

Devbhoomi Family Society actively participates in inter-college events and organizes several cultural programs within the campus. Members perform in various competitions and represent the college in multiple cultural fests.

Key events and initiatives include:

Participation in competitions and performances at other colleges.
Organizing Raibaar (Orientation Program) and Baromasa (Annual Fest).
